i think my blogfrom french knees in Africa received my recent ramblings... perhaps someone could check it  oout,

  if i have done that let me summarize

we arrived safely not without dramatho,  going thru security in LHR.   Patti was searched in great detail tearing apart her bags and finally losing an important cream as it wasin a container larger than 100 ml Wefound a smaller container and removed that in orderto squeeze out theconfiscated cream into it,,,when P went back to do that they madeher go throughbthe line again, total body scan etc. 

we then flew into Berlin, getting a travel pass. bussing it to our hotel, not before we  bought  a large bottle of Dalmore scotch which we had had free samples of in UK duty free.

wefound a piano jazz bar in the hotel and s acked and discoered german beer.   Patti loves dark beer and discovered   Porter beer which is a sweetish wheat beer.b
