This is Wednesday the 7th September and I am leaving with an island friend for 3 weeks. 6 days from now. We will be travelling by train after arriving in Berllin by Air Canada, via London. Our Journey begins with a group on the 17th but we decided to travel to Berlin a few days ahead of time, one to beat jet lag and two to do some things which the group seems not be doing. We have so far booked a travel pass , a walking pass and tickets for La Ballo Maschera by Verdi.. at the State Opera house.
I shall try to keep the blog up to date when I arrive.
